Ok Ok when some men go through their mid-life crisis they chase after young women, well I collect old motorcycles! A MUCH healthier pursuit! Here's my 1965 Triumph Trophy. The motor is being rebuilt and restored by Four Aces in LA. I've done the rest. A few of the cooler tidbits: the headlight is from a 1918 Cadillac (rebuit by me), tail light is 1930's Harley Davidson, fuel tank is a classic GME chopper tank(painted by me), handlebars are 70's era BMW, the rear wheel is a 16" Harley wheel laced to a Triumph hub, and the seat was custom made for this bike! Very cool!
I thought it was men who had these! Well Denise decided that if you work 80 hours a week, maybe you should spend a little cash and get something you've always dreamed of. What has Denise always dreamed of??? A new T-bird of course!
In August we took the kids to Hawaii for coupla weeks! We stayed in Kona. What a beautiful place to spend some time! We went snorkling, visited Volcano National Park, and a ate a LOT of fresh fish!!!
Wow, get excited, we're launching our official blog! You can come here to see all kind of non-sense related to the Howes out in Alpine California. Find out the scores of Jade's soccer games or what play Jeremy is doing with San Diego Junior Theater . Denise has her horses to show off, oh yeah, and THE CAR! And of course, if you are at all interested old motorcycles, talk to Rob!
